Check out the huge hole a rock punched into my sunroof….

Hole in the Sunroof

Luckily I have this fixed now - but I was without the car for about a week while they ordered a new one. Not fun!

Grand Canyon Trip

Clouds at Grand Canyon

So if you’ve been living in a hole, you may not realize that we have one of the greatest wonders of the world in our backyard… This place is absolutely amazing and really should be on your travel list to see some day. We visited in the winter, which is quiet and peaceful and shows the canyon in its many moods. Words really don’t describe this place.

I’d like to go back and hike into the canyon with Aaron sometime (after a lot of practice hikes somewhere safer).

Where’s the Snow?

January 13th, 2008 by Sarah Worsham · No Comments

Global warming is fun and all, but it would be nice if fit would get a little bit colder so the local snow “hill” could make some snow.  We’re supposed to take R out for skiing lessons, but it hasn’t been cold enough for them to make snow since Christmas break.  They say they have “sugar snow” with 12″ variable base - translation: crappy skiing.  While the snow doesn’t matter too much for R right now, there’s no point in paying $$$ for Aaron and I to get lift passes if we can’t take a couple of decent runs.

Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow!
